In 1984 the collector Giuliano Gori commissioned a work from Burri for his 19th-century park at Villa Celle. The Master accepted the invitation and, like what happened in Gibellina in Sicily, he designed a work to be placed outside the park, in front of its entrance gate, along the road that connects Pistoia to Montale.

The large painted iron sculpture , installed in 1986 and located where Burri wanted it to be, is more than 5 metres high and stands on a triangular base from which slim, arcuate elements branch off, allowing a view of the surrounding greenery. The sculpture was donated to the town of Pistoia by Gori and Maestro Burri.
