The Spazio Antonioni has been open in Ferrara since first of June: the brand new museum offers the general public and enthusiasts a journey into the intellectual and creative universe of one of the fathers of modern cinematography. The two completely redesigned floors of the former Contemporary Art Pavilion in Palazzo Massari house a selection of the extraordinary collection of objects and documents that the director himself and his wife entrusted to the City of Ferrara.
This precious heritage is enriched by viewing sequences from Antonioni’s films and comparing them with visual works that inspired them, starting with the work of Italian masters such as Alberto Burri, Giorgio Morandi or Filippo de Pisis.
